Philo season is in full swing on Arizona State University’s campus, and Sigma Nu is not missing out on a piece of the action. This past week, the Zeta Upsilon chapter threw their first philo event of the spring semester: Plant the Seed. The brothers got together to sell pots with seeds that could be planted by attendees at our house in the new Greek Leadership Village (GLV). Over 110 people came to Plant the Seed with us, and the Zeta Upsilon chapter raised over $700 in one night for Child’s Help.

Plant the Seed was also one of Zeta Upsilon’s first public events at the newly opened White Rose Lounge. The chapter hopes that Plant the Seed sets the stage for the blossoming of our philanthropic events for the next semester, and firmly plants the roots of Zeta Upsilon’s return to Arizona State’s campus.
